SportsShooter.com is an online community and resource for sports photographers and other working photojournalists. It serves as an informative and inspiring site for anyone who aspires to be on the sidelines capturing great moments at their favorite sporting venue.
Sports Shooter began in 1998 as an e-mail newsletter created by USA Today photographer Robert Hanashiro. His newsletter originally was passed along to a handful of sports photographers, photojournalists and colleagues as a way for Hanashiro to share his experiences, insight, concerns and rants about the state of sports photography.
Over time, Sports Shooter grew to include more than 7,000 subscribers and countless editorial contributions from professional sports photographers who donated their time and shared their wealth of information.
